What is .nr?
A little context on Nauru: the capital is Yaren, languages include English and Nauru, the currency is the Australian dollar (AUD) and the international dialing code is +674.
IANA lists CENPAC NET as the manager of .nr, with an address in Nauru. The registry's website is http://www.cenpac.net.nr. ccTLD managers set their own policies — who can register, which second-level names exist, pricing to registrars — so those rules differ from country to country.
Under the hood, the root zone points to 4 name servers for .nr, 2 of them reachable over IPv6. There is no DS record for .nr in the root zone, which means the TLD is not DNSSEC-signed at the top level.
